I’TS BEEN a quiet weekend on the blog, but I’ve been enjoying a few days off and recuperating from a rather festive dinner party Saturday night… Well I’m back now, see you later!

I’VE SPENT all day at sea with DFDS Seaways. They’d invited a few ladies on a day cruise, to mark the seasonal opening of the sun deck. Unfortunately the sun deck was a bit clouded, so we spent the day inspecting the giant MS Pearl of Scandinavia ship instead. Except for a union conference on board ,we had the ship all to ourselves and visited both the bridge, the machine room, the night club and the commodore suites (some of them have their own jacuzzi deck… not bad) We ended the day with tapas and a wine tasting, at the vine bar on board. A surprisingly pleasent experience and definitely not a bad start on the weekend!

GOOD MORNING! When I checked my inbox this morning I was exited to find a pressrelease from H&M, who just revealed their new designer collaboration… with parisian designer Isabel Marant! The line outside H&M is going to be loooooong the 14th of November, when the new collection is released! I can’t wait!
I’VE FORGOTTEN to shown you my new dress, that I got a couple of weeks back, when I was in Spain. It’s from Zara (…of course) and when I got it, I had the best intentions of wearing it all summer! I still have those intentions, only I haven’t worn it yet. I tend not to use any of my dresses, but I guess I’ll have to get over my dress-fobia because this one is too pretty to just hang in my closet!

I HOPE you all had a wonderful weekend? I spent most of Yesterday updating my tictail shop with new items. I also marked down all old items, for those of you who might have had an eye on something. Anywho… I’m currently obsessed with the jewelry from Repossi. Artistic Director Gaia Repossi is a cool cat herself and I really wouldn’t mind the diamond knuckle ring on the top picture. Oh my!

HELLO GIRLS, I hope you had a chance to enjoy the sun Yesterday? My Friday started off really good when my UPS man delivered these espadrilles from La Maison de l’Espadrille that I ordered from Saranza.dk a few days ago. As I posted on Instagram (@wearemad) I put them on right away! I Actually didn’t know La Maison de l’Espadrille before I found them on Sarenza.dk earlier this week. I’ve been looking for a pair of espadrilles throughout spring. I wanted a pair with embroidered toes, I guess I just like that, so I was happy when I found these !
La Maison de l’Espadrilles has been made in france since the 60s by the Arauzo-brothers. The espadrilles are made with tradition out of natural materials, with a hessian sole coated with resistant natural rubber and a cotton canvas top with embroidered tips. The composition of the materials make the espadrilles perfect for summer.
I got a pair in Ecru (picture) and a pair in Denim, but I think I’ll have to order a pair in pink as well! For 164DKK you don’t really have to think about it right? Find you favorite color here

YESTERDAY I visited the Day Birger et Mikkelsen HQ for a sneak peek of their “Winter Night Collection” from 2nd day and main line. The collection will hit the stores from late August till November 2013. Here are my favorites:
/1. amazing leather jacket from 2nd day – I’m in need of a black leather jacket and this one is a very good choice, I love all the details /2. 2nd day /3. this green silk dress would actually be perfect for now! I like the cut and the color with tanned skin /4. 2nd day Winter Night color palette /5. this leather t-shirt is probably my favorite item from the 2nd day collection, with a pair of jeans or a skirt this one would get me through fall and winter just fine! /6. moving on to the the main collection from Day Birger et Mikkelsen and a pair of pony heels /7. absolute favorite item from the main line collection! delicate, elegant and classic! /8. main line Winter Night color palette /9. a velvet blazer has been on my wishlist for a couple of seasons – this one is a not a bad choice!

I’M A big admirer of the Italian artist Piero Fornasetti. I enjoy Italian interior style, and Fornasetti captures the essentials that I like about it. I would love to have a few af his things in my home.

HERE YOU go, the latest addition to my shoe collection! These Leo Suede sandals from Alaïa have been on my radar since 2010, when they came out. With a little luck, I could finally pick them up at Holly Golightly Yesterday. I’m sure they are going to stay on my feet all summer!

SUN BEAM from Benefit has been a personal favorite, since I purchased it last summer. I apply a small amount on my cheeks after applying bronzer. It completes a healthy sunkissed summer look.
